Ontario puts $10 million into planning a new Southlake hospital

The Ontario government says it is investing $10 million to advance plans for a new Southlake Health acute-care hospital in East Gwillimbury and the redevelopment of the existing hospital in Newmarket. The province says the projects are meant to connect more than 250,000 people in northern York Region and southern Simcoe County to hospital care closer to home.
